Holy Ghost Prep School Roof Catches Fire

An estimated $1 million damage was sustained to the roof of the Holy Ghost Preparatory School at 2429 Bristol Pike in Bensalem Pennsylvania this afternoon after a torch being used by Russel Roofing of Oreland PA ignited a portion of the flat roof they were working on.
The Bensalem Fire Marshal reported the incident occurred about 45 minutes after the roofer’s began work, around 1:55pm. The fire was placed under control around 2:30pm.
The school had previously employed Russel Roofing and were happy with their work.
